post_v1_agents_targets
RegisterTarget registers a machine as an agent target, or re-links one that is already registered.
RegisterTarget registers a machine as an agent target, or re-links one that is already registered. Re-linking is idempotent and keyed on org+host+owner, so a machine that reconnects refreshes its own row rather than piling up duplicates; it answers 200, while a first registration answers 201.
| Tool | post_v1_agents_targets |
| Door | https://api.hanzo.ai/v1/mcp |
| Method | tools/call (JSON-RPC 2.0) |
| Arguments | 7 |
| Operation | POST /v1/agents/targets |
| Product | agents |
Arguments
| Field | Type | Required | Default | Values | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
capacity | string | — | — | — | — |
host | string | — | — | — | — |
kind | string | — | — | — | — |
label | string | — | — | — | — |
metrics | Metrics | — | — | — | — |
spec | Spec | — | — | — | — |
status | string | — | — | — | — |
tools/list declares a type for each field and nothing further. A — means neither the door nor that operation constrains the field.
Object types
GPU, Metrics and Spec are objects this tool's fields are made of. Each is declared inside the tool's own schema, and each is enumerated in full below.
GPU

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
memory | integer | — | — | — | VRAM bytes, 0 = unknown |

vendor | string | — | — | — | nvidia | amd | apple | intel | ... |
Metrics
| Field | Type | Required | Default | Values | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
at | integer | — | — | — | unix seconds, server-stamped |
gpuUtil | number | — | — | — | 0..1 aggregate utilization |
load1 | number | — | — | — | — |
load15 | number | — | — | — | — |
load5 | number | — | — | — | — |
memFree | integer | — | — | — | bytes |

Spec
| Field | Type | Required | Default | Values | Description |

os | string | — | — | — | linux | darwin | windows |
Call it
A tools/call carries every argument in one flat object — nothing binds to a path or a query string. Nothing above is required, so every declared argument is shown rather than a guess at which matter.

Neither the door nor the operation declares one. tools/list needs no credential; tools/call does — called without one the door answers HTTP 200 with a JSON-RPC result whose isError is set and whose text says what was missing. The same capability over plain HTTP is in the agents API reference, on https://api.hanzo.ai.

How is this guide?
post_v1_agents_sessions
RegisterSession opens a live agent session in the caller's org — the row every surface (the CLI's outer agent, hanzo.bot, the console, chat) hangs its activity off.

ClaimRoutedRun is the machine's long poll for work: it authenticates the daemon, stamps the liveness the dispatch gate reads (the poll IS the proof a runner is listening), and waits up to 25 seconds…
