## How Attribution Works

1. **Shareable Links**: Mint custom vanity links in the Hanzo Console (e.g., `https://hanzo.ai/?aff=YOUR_CODE`).
2. **First-Touch Capture**: When a visitor clicks your link, their browser captures the affiliate token in secure local storage across authentication redirects.
3. **Account Binding**: Upon signup or organization creation, `/v1/affiliates/attribute` permanently links the new organization to your partner account.
4. **Transparent Ledger**: Review real-time click volume, conversion rates, and accrued commission by period under **Settings → Affiliates** in Hanzo Console.

## Payout Methods & Thresholds

Earnings accrue continuously and settle on the 1st of each month for balances exceeding $50:

- **HUSD Stablecoin (Hanzo EVM)**: Gasless instant settlement on the sovereign blockchain.
- **Direct Crypto Rails**: Automatic transfers in ETH, USDC, or sovereign network tokens.

## Program Rules & Guidelines

- **No Self-Referrals**: Commissions are not paid on accounts owned, operated, or affiliated with the referrer.
- **Fair Promotion**: Paid search ads targeting branded keywords (e.g. "Hanzo", "Hanzo Cloud", "Hanzo AI") are prohibited without prior authorization.
- **Developer Integrity**: Spamming forums, repositories, or social communities is strictly prohibited and results in immediate account suspension.
