Runs one SQL statement against a D1 database. It executes on the org's
OWN Cloudflare account and relays D1's result set. The body is checked for a
non-empty `sql` and then forwarded VERBATIM, so every field D1 accepts reaches D1
even though only two are named here.

Requires ORG ADMIN — a statement may INSERT, UPDATE or DROP, so a query takes the
write gate rather than the read one — and a caller who is only an org member is
refused 403. A missing `sql` is 400; 503 if the org has never connected a
Cloudflare token.

## Request

3 fields, body `application/json` (required).

| Field      | In   | Type   | Required | Description                                                                                                                                           |
| ---------- | ---- | ------ | -------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `database` | path | string | yes      |                                                                                                                                                       |
| `params`   | body | any\[] | —        | Params are the statement's bound values, in the order its `?` placeholders appear — a string, a number, a boolean or null, whatever the column takes. |
| `sql`      | body | string | —        | SQL is the statement to run.                                                                                                                          |

## Response

| Status    | Body            | Meaning |
| --------- | --------------- | ------- |
| `200`     |                 | ok      |
| `default` | problem-details | refused |

`200` body — 1 field.

| Field    | In   | Type | Always | Description |
| -------- | ---- | ---- | ------ | ----------- |
| `(body)` | body | any  | yes    |             |

Failure carries the platform error shape — see [Errors](https://docs.hanzo.ai/docs/errors).

## Examples

**CLI**

```bash
hanzo cloudflare d1 databases query <database>
```

**SDK**

**.ts**

```ts
import { Configuration, CloudflareApi } from 'hanzoai';
const api = new CloudflareApi(new Configuration({ accessToken: process.env.HANZO_API_KEY }));
const { data } = await api.postCloudflareD1DatabasesByDatabaseQuery({ database: 'database', params: ["<params>"], sql: "<sql>" });
```

**.py**

```python
from hanzoai.cloud import ApiClient, Configuration
from hanzoai.cloud.api import CloudflareApi
client = ApiClient(Configuration(access_token=os.environ["HANZO_API_KEY"]))
result = CloudflareApi(client).post_cloudflare_d1_databases_by_database_query(database='database', params=["<params>"], sql="<sql>")
```

**.go**

```go
cfg := hanzoai.NewConfiguration()
cfg.AddDefaultHeader("Authorization", "Bearer "+os.Getenv("HANZO_API_KEY"))
client := hanzoai.NewAPIClient(cfg)
resp, _, err := client.CloudflareAPI.PostCloudflareD1DatabasesByDatabaseQuery(context.Background()).Execute()
if err != nil {
	return err
}
```

**.rs**

```rust
use hanzo_client::apis::{configuration::Configuration, cloudflare_api};
let mut cfg = Configuration::new();
cfg.bearer_access_token = std::env::var("HANZO_API_KEY").ok();
let result = cloudflare_api::post_cloudflare_d1_databases_by_database_query(&cfg, Default::default()).await?;
```

**.java**

```java
import ai.hanzo.cloud.ApiClient;
import ai.hanzo.cloud.api.CloudflareApi;
ApiClient client = new ApiClient();
client.setBearerToken(System.getenv("HANZO_API_KEY"));
var result = new CloudflareApi(client).postCloudflareD1DatabasesByDatabaseQuery();
```

**HTTP**

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.hanzo.ai/v1/cloudflare/d1/databases/<database>/query \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $HANZO_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
       "params": [
         "<params>"
       ],
       "sql": "<sql>"
     }'
```

**MCP**

MCP reaches **cloudflare** through the `cloudflare` tool, which names its 29 operations with its own verbs — this one among them, under a name only MCP declares. `describe` explains any of them:

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.hanzo.ai/v1/mcp \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
       "jsonrpc": "2.0",
       "id": 1,
       "method": "tools/call",
       "params": {
         "name": "describe",
         "arguments": {
           "op": "list_cloudflare_d1_databases"
         }
       }
     }'
```
